Please download our Futures and Aspirations update for the latest careers, information and advice from Barnwell School.
I have produced a fortnightly careers focused newsletter for students in Year 9 to 13 called' Futures & Aspirations'. I am very conscious that there was a huge amount of careers type activities planned for the summer term for students in all year groups that have unfortunately all been postponed due to the shutdown. I don't want you to miss out of all the useful information.
There are lots of opportunities for virtual careers information, advice and guidance (IAG) from many different sources so I have put them altogether in the newsletter so you can have a look and get involved in anything that you find interesting. I will send out volume 2 in two weeks.
Please also keep looking at Unifrog as this is our key careers platform that offers a huge amount of careers IAG. Your parents can also help support you by logging onto Unifrog too. You can go the 'activities' and 'interactions' boxes on your home page and add in what activities you have been involved with that will help to develop and build your own personalised CV.
If there is any specific careers information that you need, please let me know and I can signpost you to the best places that you can get help with what you are looking for.
In the meantime, have a look at the newsletter, click on any of the links and see what you can find?
Mr Roberts will be adding a link to the 'Futures & Aspirations' newsletter in his parental communication email, so your parents will also be able to have a look too and be able to support you.
