June 2008 and Barnwell has successfully been reaccredited with Artsmark Gold status.
This elite award is given to only a handful of schools across the country and follows the original designation in 2001 - when Barnwell was one of the first groups of schools in the country to achieve the Artsmark - and reaccreditation in 2005.
This award granted by the Arts Council of Great Britain is in recognition of the wide range of Art, Music, Drama and Dance activities and achievements gained within the school.
