Italy 2019 - Food Technology

Aims of the Trip

Students will learn about traditional Italian cuisine, visit local producers and understanding of the production process. They will investigate why the soil in the region is so fertile and productive and learn how to prepare Italian food by assisting a chef. 

Benefits

Students will benefit by gaining understand the importance of cooking within different cultures and test and challenge their own cooking abilities. They will learn more about Italian food, cooking techniques and culture and make the connection with local produce and regional specialities, gaining practical skills that can be used in the UK.
