Design Technology at Barnwell School is taught to all students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 as part of the extended curriculum.
It is recognized nationally that all students have entitlement to a technological education as part of a broad and balanced curriculum. The aim of Design and Technology is to engender in students the capability that will enable them to be effective citizens in the 21st Century in terms of their understanding, dispositions and attitudes, transferable skills and vocation.
