Here are some Top Tips written by the current Year 7 students....
Remember:
- Don’t leave your Extended Learning too late. If you start it a couple of days before it is due, you have time to ask the teacher for help if you realise you don’t understand.
- There is homework club everyday after school in the library if you want extra help.
- Try to join one of the school clubs. The clubs help you to make friends with other people in your year and other years. You will also get to know your teachers better.
- The more effort you put into lessons the more fun you will have at Barnwell.
- You get credits and positive slips when you do well. Try to get as many as possible as you win prizes and get to go on trips if you have a lot of them.
