At Barnwell, we want you to aspire to be the best person you can be. This includes having access to as much information as possible about the opportunities in work, education and training that is open to you.
Every week we will be putting a "Job of the Week" up on the board outside the Heads of House office. The poster will hold information about the job, what qualifications are needed to do the job, the different routes students could take to reach their goal, expected salary and useful web sites.

Cascaid - www.cascaid.co.uk
CASCAiD produces loads of careers information and guidance solutions to inspire career choices. The site includes KUDOS, a really useful programme matching persoanl preferences to possible career choices and pathways.
Hertschoices - www.hertschoices.org.uk
This site gives you the opportunity to see the range of courses and apprenticeships on offer from schools and colleges around the county and beyond!
Channelmogo - www.channelmogo.org
Channelmogo is a web portal for all young people in Hertfordshire aged 11-19 (up to 25 with a disability). It’s run by people in Herts who are here to help young people in all sorts of ways. The site is different from other websites because it is a portal. This means that it is packed full of local information, and it also links to lots of other useful websites too. One way to describe it is that it's the one place online where you can go to find all the information you need as a young person in Hertfordshire.

A site with a multitude of resources, including jobs 4 U, Health and relationships, housing, money and work.
Careersbox - Careersbox
Provides free work related film content, covering hundreds of different employment and training opportunities throughout the UK.
