Services that are available in school to support students (Pastoral Support)
Buddys - Buddys are older students that support Year 6 students in their transition to Year 7. Please see the Student Section/ Buddy System for further details. Form Tutors - Form tutors are an integral part of the pastoral support system for students. Students are able to talk to their form tutor about any issues that are concerning them and Form Tutors can direct students if further help and advise is needed.
Mrs Durham, Mrs Newcomb, Mrs Bird and Mrs Banks (East)
These ladies mentor and support any student that needs help with any general aspect of school life. They run the Isolated Student Learning Area, which has been put in place to allow internal isolation - instead of home isolation - so the student can continue to study with support from staff.
Ms Calvinder Mandair
County supplied Children, Schools and Families Pupil Support Worker. They deal with individual students that have specific needs such as marriage break ups, bereavement, home issues etc.
Mrs Rony Medina
External support from the Educational Support Centre, Rony deals with students with particular behaviour issues such as anger management.
