Partnership

We believe that the success of our pupils is helped by a strong partnership between parents and staff. To help them succeed we each have a role.

Set high standards and expectations for all our pupils
Provide the full curriculum in all subject areas
Set and mark homework regularly according to the timetable and provide study facilities in school
Assess pupils' progress and inform parents
Provide parents with regular information about the life of the school and inform them in writing of any significant changes that affect their child
Hold regular parents' evenings
Provide opportunities for pupils to become involved in visits, clubs and activities
In partnership with parents, develop in each pupil a sense of personal responsibility for their work and behaviour
Work closely with parents to maximise all pupils' achievements at school

Take an interest in my/our child's progress at school by looking at their books and homework
Attend Parents' evenings
Provide a quiet place to do homework
Sign the homework planner each week
Ensure my child attends school on time each day
Make sure my child is always correctly dressed and equipped for school
Support the school's rewards and behaviour systems
Help the school in developing in my child a sense of personal responsibility for their work and behaviour
Work closely with staff to maximise my child's achievements at school
