KS4 Passport Goes Live!
Friday, 11th September 2009
The Barnwell Passport is a web-based system that allows students to recognise any achievements they may have had; from attending after school sports clubs and being a member of an outside music group to receiving a high accolade in a curriculum subject or aiding the community.
Each student is in control of his or her own reporting. It is the students responsibility to logon and enter the information. This will then be verified by members of staff.
Each successful entry gains the students points that when accumulated and at the end of the KS4, awards them a certificate: a pass, merit or distinction along with possible right of passage to house trips, prom invite, etc. The Passport gives students a record of all their achievements during their time at the school which is particularly useful when seeking employment, writing CVs, university applications etc
