District Athletics Round-up.

Barnwell took part in the District Athletics Championships on Wednesday 23rd June, with the school finishing 6th overall in the whole of North Herts and the second highest placed school in Stevenage.
A huge success and achievement by our athletes and indicates the progress being made in athletics.
The following students achieved medal status in their events and are in the top 3 of the district - a wonderful achievement.
Year 7:
R. Pickard – 1st High Jump
B.Drew – 3rd long jump
R Ferguson – 2nd hurdles
G Riley – 3rd 800m
R Pickard – 2nd 200m
Year 8:
C Hemmings - 2nd triple jump
A Rush – 2nd high jump
G Danaher – 3rd high Jump
P Fairclough – 2nd 100m
Year 9:
J Williams – 3rd Javelin
Year 10
J Kumar – 2nd 1500m
