Annual Sports Dinner

The Annual Barnwell Sports Awards Dinner was held on Thursday 29th March at Knebworth Barns. This was a chance for upper school students from years 10-13 to have their efforts and achievements recognised by their peers and the school PE department.
There were a range of awards given out ranging from curriculum based awards to sporting excellence and achievement with nominees and winners being identified by the ‘Master of Ceremonies’ Mr Patching. The night included a meal followed by a disco, it was an excellent evening with special guests Ralf Little & Dave Kitson.

Anderson Award - For Contribution to Department and School - Mitch Stepien
Kitts Award - For Sportsmanship - Lewis Clayton
Johnson Award - For Outstanding Effort in GCSE PE - Scott Wilson
Barnett Award - For Outstanding Achievement - Luke Bannister
Patching Award - For Outstanding Performance - India Paine
Carter Award - For Gym and Dance - Vicky Miller
Anson O’Reilly Memorial Award - For Personal Achievement - CJ Morris
Wardle Award - For contribution to Extra-Curricular Activities - Kailan Carr
Brown Award - For Dance - Rebecca Lawson
Moore Award - For Netball - Year 10 Netball Team
Solieri Award - For District Representation - Billy Welch
Brown Award - For BTEC Sport - Jamie Lee Western
Tyler Award - For Sports Leadership - Lauren Burns
Booth Award - Lifetime Achievement - Lizzie Sutherill
