Barnwell Wins District Cup!

The year 8 football team yesterday won their District Cup final against Priory 3-1 and become the first Barnwell team to retain the district cup back to back for many years.
In a very tight game the boys fought back from 1-0 down before goals from Ben McMullen, Michael Simpson and John Veal wrapped up an excellent victory for the boys.
A very special mention also to both Ben McMullen who was outstanding throughout and our goalkeeper Billy Welch who saved 2 penalties in the final! Well done to all the boys!
