Barnwell Badminton Team Placed at County Finals

This was the first time that Barnwell has entered the Badminton Tournament and did really well to win the North Herts Championships just before Christmas.
The final took place on Tuesday 20th January 2009 at the Stevenage Leisure Centre.
The Year 11 team of John Elms, Ryan Li, Trevor Mak and Jonny Chai played really well and competed and held their own against some of the top players in the England.
The team finished second in their group and proceeded to win 3rd place overall.
"I am really pleased with their progress over the last few months and wish to congratulate them on their success" offered Mr Brown.
