Barnwell Canteen's Awarded 5 Stars!

Congratulations are in order for the kitchen staff on both campuses after being awarded 5 stars in the hygiene inspection by the Environmental Health & Licensing Division.
Extensive works were carried out over the summer holidays last year in the kitchen's including the installation of some industrial sized extractor fans. This work aided the inspection which also looks at placement of food in fridges and appropriate food labelling.
"We are delighted at both Barnwell sites achievement of attaining a 5*rating from the 'Scores on the Doors' programme operated by some Environmental Health Office's. Their achievement is reflective of the high standards in health & hygiene that Hertfordshire Catering operate throughout their units across the County. Well done" commented spokesperson Tracie Bere
