Great Theme Day Collaboration

Year 8 students enjoyed a different type of school day after their teachers joined forces to provide a collaboration of teaching based around the approaching Rock Challenge.
Teachers from Drama, Art, English, Science and RE used a carousel timetable to enable every student to participate in each subject whilst using the Rock Challenge theme.
Some amazing work was produced and the students really enjoyed their unusual day. This culminated in getting together in the hall, showing their work and watching the work in progress performance by the Rock Challenge cast.
Throughout the day, the teachers noted students that had particularly helped or achieved and prizes were given to the following:
Danielle Roblett, Joe Petts, Georgia Lang and Rhys Brown.
Special mention goes to: Shaye Field and Jimmy Agnew who both received nominations from two teachers each.
The group which was nominated for their behaviour and attitude were: The Sonic Team.
Well done to everyone involved in the exciting theme day.
