Building a Partnership with Parents/Carers

Three times a year the Barnwell Parents Partnership - a group of parents/carers and representatives from the school - get together over coffee to discuss school issues that warrant praise or need alteration to provide your children with the educational experience they deserve.
Actions through the partnership have included;
- signing up to Teachers2Parents text messaging service
- providing clear guidelines and access to staff
- providing a clear teaching staff list on the website
- offering parents explanations regarding LASS tests (available on website)
- Year 8 Information Evening
- Additional reporting on student progress
