Congratulations Year 11 - GCSE Results

The Governing Body of Barnwell School together with the staff are immensely proud of the achievements of all students in Year 11. We are absolutely delighted for every individual.
The number of students achieving 5+ GCSE and equivalents at A*-C has once again significantly increased to 80% with 47% of those students also achieving A*-C in both English and Maths. This continues a strong rising trend in examination results fostered by the school’s unique and distinctive ethos which promotes community values and strong working relationships between staff and students.
We wholeheartedly congratulate all students for their achievements across all subjects. Of particular note is the way in which all students prepared for examinations, particularly in core subjects where this year increasing numbers achieved the higher grades (English Language 61%; English Literature 69%; Mathematics 58%; Science 70%).
We recognise and highly value the contribution of our parents/carers to these wonderful achievements. Today is a well deserved opportunity for the whole school community to celebrate together!
