Future Barnwell - Governing Body Decision

A letter has been sent out to all parents and carers outlining the decision and rationale behind it.
Excerpt from the letter:
"Thank you for taking the time to share your views and suggestions with the school during the period of consultation.
After thorough and very careful consideration, the Governing Body has decided to move forward with the proposal for ‘Future Barnwell’. This change will be implemented in September 2012.
We embarked on this journeywith an unwavering commitment to deliver the same educational benefits of BSF (‘Building Schools for the Future’). Every student deserves a world class education which guarantees skills development, understanding, enjoyment and qualifications that fully support their prospects in the future. Recent weeks have been an opportunity to engage students, parents/carers, staff and the wider community in discussions about how the proposal might help us achieve this vision for our current and future students."
