Young Carers look to Fair Trade Friday

Barnwell's Young Carers are hoping to set up a Fair Trade shop after a visit from a local businesswoman.
The local business woman, called Jasmin, is offering to give them £100 seed funding to get started and has also offered to come along and support the shop in school.
The group has also been visited by John McBride from the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry who has come in to school to help them write their business plan, which if agreed by Jasmin will release the funding.
The Young Carers plan to run a shop on the last friday of every month. The profits of the sales will go into a fund for a summer trip for the Young Carers.
