Kadoma Link Strengthened by Headteacher Visit.
Sunday, 18th April 2010
"Yesterday Yr 7 Core Learning students had a very important visitor from Zimbabwe.
The Headteacher of a primary school in Kadoma, Zimbabwe. He told us lots of interesting facts about life in Kadoma and at his school. He made us realise how lucky we are with the amount of technology we have and even the number of chairs – they have to sit on the floor.
He also told us that they have two sittings of school in one day. If they get excluded they go to prison school. Classes have up to fifty children in them and there is no food provided at the school. The Headmaster was then given a tour of our school, and he said how lucky we were at Barnwell School."
