Parent/Carer Coffee Morning Invitation

Building on the successful Coffee Morning held in February at The Hyde Out, Headteacher, Ms Vivien Swaida and Extended Schools Co-ordinator, Mrs Shelagh Mackey are again inviting parents to join them for a conversation over coffee.
Being held at the informal setting of The Hyde Out - a community area based at The Hyde (on the corner of Hydean and Shephall Way) - on Friday 11th June at 11:00, Ms Swaida hopes more parents will join her this time around to discuss ways of moving forward with the school
Back in February, the meeting was attended by a selection of parents who have children in various years at Barnwell. The conversation was helpful for both parents and the school and Ms Swaida returns to The Hyde Out to feedback on many of the points raised and to build on the relationship forged over coffee.
Ms Swaida is extremely keen on building the relationship between parents and the school and aims to keep the communication gates open for all parents. She currently offers the Monday morning Drop In on West campus (7:45 – 8:30am) and is looking at other ways for herself and her deputies to be available to parents.
