Last Day Arrangements
Students will finish school early on Friday 18th. They will watch the customary Christmas Pantomime and be allowed to leave after that. We estimate this to be around 12:30, although the panto may run on slightly.

Important Changes to Learning Review Day
All parents should have, by now, received a letter via your child regarding changes to Learning Review Day. After a great deal of consideration it has been decided that the Learning Review Day scheduled for Wednesday 27th January 2010 will no longer take place.

With all proceeds going to Children In Need, students are offered the chance of donating 50p and wearing non-uniform on Friday 20th November.

Year 11 students and parents are invited to Barnwell East Campus on Thursday 19th November for an informative evening about their last six months at KS4.

Change to Reception Hours
Barnwell's Reception hours are changing after half term. Both receptions will be open from 8:00am until 4:00pm Monday - Thursday and until 3:30pm on Fridays.

Swine Flu Guidelines
The latest national guidance on swine flu advises schools to open as usual this term. Expert advice is that there is no longer a strong case for closing schools to contain the spread of infection. (2nd Sept)The NHS has issued a letter to all parents.
