Community Day 2011
Once again the Barnwell Business and Enterprise school held their fantastic community day at the end of the summer term and it did not rain!! The students and staff excelled by running their own stalls and taking part in all the activities on offer.

Back to School - September 5th 2011
Students returning to school in September are reminded that school starts at 8:30 am for Years 7, 10 and 11 and 10:30 am start for Years 8 and 9

Last Day of Term
Students are expected to come to school at the normal time. It is non-uniform. The day will end at 12 noon. We wish you a safe and enjoyable Summer break.

It is with sadness that we say goodbye to several staff members this year, whether they are retiring or moving onto warmer climates, we wish them all well in their future ventures.

Robin Hood - Opening Night!
The first performance of the summer production Robin Hood begins this evening and promises to be another spectacular event from Barnwell students.

Sports Day - Tuesday 19th July
Students are to come to school in their PE Kit in readiness for Sports Day which will be held at Ridlins. Parents are reminded that students will finish at Ridlins around 2pm.

A group of 4 students went to local firm, MBDA on Friday to participate in the first ever Glider Challenge with great results.

Vermont Trip - memories and plans for 2013
Monday 18th July (5 - 6pm) is being heralded as Ski Evening - as Barnwell looks back at the trip to Vermont earlier this year and to talk about a future visit in 2013.

Students in Year 8 are reminded that tomorrow (Wednesday) there is a photographer coming into school to take their pictures for the wall.
